Richmond’s iconic music venue, the Corner Hotel, will be bringing a different kind of music event next month with BIN’GO YOUR OWN WAY, an evening full of music-themed bingo.
Proving that bingo isn’t just for your nan, the game will substitute symbols for songs with the host, music media identity and Beat TV’s own Dan Watt, set to play short snippets from themed tracks that punters will then match to their song cards until they hit bingo.
Apart from the sheer novelty of it, there’ll be plenty of incentive with prizes up for grabs and a special raffle taking place each week. BIN’GO YOUR OWN WAY will take place every Tuesday, conveniently coinciding with the venue’s Cheeseday Tuesdays, so you can scoff down Philly cheesesteaks, cheese boards and cheese toasties while you test your music knowledge.
There’ll be a load of fun themes including Decade, Genres and Hottest 100, plus plenty of beer to ensure that it all turns into a shambles.
