Champagne, circus, and cabaret walk into a bar; Spiegel Haus is one of Melbourne's most unforgettable venues of the year.
Spiegel Haus Melbourne is entering its final weeks, and with the season wrapping up on 26 July, time is genuinely running out to catch the multi-level CBD entertainment destination before it closes its doors.
Since launching in the Chinatown precinct, the venue has brought together cabaret, circus, comedy, live music, rooftop hospitality and late-night programming right in the heart of the city, carving out a reputation as one of Melbourne’s more distinctive spots for a night that goes well beyond the ordinary.

The numbers speak for themselves; the venue is on track to hit 100,000 ticket sales across its inaugural season, and its purpose-built performance spaces, seating between 200 and 500 across multiple levels, have drawn both punters and performers throughout the run.
Spiegel Haus has also operated as a multi-purpose cultural hub, hosting programming for both Midsumma and Melbourne Comedy Festival, with its free events and hospitality zones providing an added boost to businesses across the surrounding Chinatown precinct.
At the centre of it all is Blanc de Blanc Encore, the Strut & Fret production that has been pulling repeat crowds with its collision of vintage French glamour, high-wire acrobatics, comedy, cabaret and champagne-fuelled spectacle.
The show announced its third season extension back on 16 April, hitting its record-breaking 40-week milestone during Melbourne Comedy Festival’s own 40th birthday year.
Audiences now have just a handful of weeks left to catch Blanc de Blanc Encore live before the run ends for good.
