The Chats have built an impressive catalogue since their formation, releasing two albums including the chart-topping Get Fucked, which has kept them touring globally and sharing stages with rock legends including Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. Their success demonstrates the enduring appeal of authentic punk rock in contemporary music.

Beyond their performing career, The Chats serve as the driving force behind Bargain Bin Records, a label they created in 2019 to release their own albums and support emerging Australian talent. The label has grown significantly, releasing over 25 albums and rare seven-inch records for top Australian bands including King Stingray, C.O.F.F.I.N and Dennis Cometti.

The band’s commitment to supporting fellow Australian musicians extends to their current touring activities, with The Chats taking their Bargain Bin roster on tour throughout the country. The label plans to release special seven-inch splits to celebrate this touring initiative, demonstrating their ongoing dedication to fostering the Australian music scene.

The Tote Hotel provides the perfect intimate setting for The Chats’ high-energy performance style, with the venue’s legendary bandroom having hosted countless memorable punk and alternative rock shows over the years.
