Homegrown ska/jazz six-piece The Cat Empire have revealed their latest single ‘Ready Now’ ahead of the release of their seventh studio album, and it comes with some pretty exciting bonuses.
The single is accompanied by a 360-degree film clip, which features the band and dancers performing in a circle, allowing you to swivel around from the centre and watch them do their thing, feeling as though you’re right before the band taking it all it.
Along with the new single and futuristic clip, The Cat Empire also come bearing news regarding their forthcoming album, announcing their plans to release a song each month in the lead up to its release, with ‘Ready Now’ serving as the first instalment.
So start counting down, there’ll be a new Cat Empire single in precisely a month – though ‘Ready Now’ will surely tide you over until then. Next month’s release will also coincide with the band’s upcoming tour.
