Fresh air, fresh films. Lido On The Roof screens the best films from the first day of their release outside in the open air.
Barbie, Saltburn, The Hunger Games, Thanksgiving, Grease, Napoleon, Bottoms, Uprising, Past Lives and more will all be showing at Lido Cinemas on their outdoor rooftop throughout the summer months.
They’ve also announced the return of their rooftop bar, so you can drop by for a drink with a view. The rooftop bar will open to ticketholders for an hour prior to the film, so you can enjoy the sunset with a drink (or two) in hand.

Lido Cinemas is a sleek artiplex showing both commercial and new release arthouse films, with eight cinemas and a rooftop screen, in the heart of Hawthorn.
Sessions may be changed or cancelled due to inclement weather – we do live in Melbourne after all. If a session is rained out, you’ll be able to contact the cinema to be advised on alternative arrangements.
If wet weather prevails and the session is cancelled, complimentary tickets will be issued. There are no refunds for Lido On The Roof tickets.
As a blanket rule, it is a good idea to rug up in their open air cinemas. In the event of a further rug required, one can be purchased for $10 per blanket from the rooftop bar. First in best dressed.
