The Big Design Market returns to the iconic Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton this November delivering stacks of fresh talent and a truly unparalleled festive shopping experience. Boasting 280+ independent designers including loads of newcomers, a sublime mix of 80+ food and drink brands, a breathtaking art installation by guest artist Emma Morgan, a pop-up fashion show, free Friday night drinks and a dedicated kids creative space, this event is an exciting and joyful celebration of independent design complete with shopping, eating, drinking, creating and playing – all under one roof.
In the lead up to the festive season, The Big Design Market is the ultimate place to find that perfect gift for loved ones with an incredible curation of ethically made ceramics, jewellery, homewares, clothing, innovative lifestyle products, pet wares, stationery and much more, with many amazing new brands joining the lineup.
Plus there will be an incredible Visitor Prize valued at $1200 up for grabs. Visitors can enter either through their online ticket or by simply scanning a QR code at the event. And not to be missed are the legendary Designer Showbags which sell out in the first hour! These limited edition delights boast incredible value with $150 worth of exciting designer goods for only $25. Think artisanal food products, stationery, home fragrance, socks, a cheeky Spritz and more. A different selection will be available each day for purchase at the door, limited to 2 per person.
