The Bennies’ latest video ‘Trip Report’ goes for exactly four minutes and 20 seconds and tells an animated tale of a day in the band complete with catchy choruses. The animated clip was created by Joel Kirschenbaum who has also worked with The Smith Street Band.
On top of this video release, The Bennies’ Natural Born Chillers album tour starts this Wednesday and goes for two months across every state in Australia. During this tour, they’ll be bringing the party to the people with three performances in Victoria – Howler on Friday July 6, Geelong’s Worker’s Club on Saturday July 7 and Sooki Lounge on Sunday July 8.
Joining the Bennies on most dates are Gooch Palms from Newcastle. They’ve just released single ‘Busy Bleeding’ and signed to Dune Rats’ label Ratbag Records. Young Offenders will be playing the East Coast shows plus other supports such as Abbe May, Axe Girl, Dunsborough, Ferla and Moody Beaches at various shows.
This all follows on from The Bennies successful six-week tour around Europe.
