The event offers local bands the chance to sell their merch directly to fans, with all profits going straight back to the artists. The Beast will add a $5 fee to each sale, which will be donated to Support Act, ensuring that funds reach musicians and crew who may be struggling.
Bands just need to drop off their merch at The Beast, and the venue’s team will handle all sales, making it easy for artists to participate even if they can’t attend in person.
Known for its vibrant atmosphere, The Beast has been a cornerstone of the Brunswick music scene for over a decade, hosting countless live shows, comedy nights, and community fundraisers. With a menu inspired by the flavours of New Orleans and a line-up of locally crafted beers and cocktails, the venue is the perfect place for a lively day celebrating Aussie music.
“We’re all about supporting local talent here,” says Beast Executive Chef Jarrod Moore. “This venue has become the neighbourhood’s rec room for music and good times, and we’re proud to host events like Ausmusic T-Shirt Day that give back to the community.”
So, grab your favourite Ausmusic tee, bring your friends, and head to The Beast for a day of music, merch and Melbourne’s best burgers. Celebrate Aussie artists, snag some new gear, and support a worthy cause at Brunswick’s go-to spot for rowdy good times.
