Having been born in Cyprus in 1959 and migrating to Australia in 1974, Ms Kannava passed away at the age of 51. Still in her prime, she kept a physical, cultural and creative connection to her homeland throughout her work, as well as her life in general.
It has now come the time to celebrate the works by this rare artist, with a two-part screening documenting her life and work.
