The Amity Affliction announce massive 21-date regional tour with In Hearts Wake and Redhook
Australian metalcore heavyweights The Amity Affliction are taking their new lineup on the road for a massive 21-date regional tour kicking off in February. Hitting Queensland, NSW, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia, the run gives fans across the country a chance to catch the band with support from In Hearts Wake and Redhook.
After Park Waves festival got canned last week, The Amity Affliction’s upcoming tour offers regional punters another shot to see the band before they head back to the US in April. Earlier this year the band dropped their latest single All That I Remember to solid support from fans and industry alike, marking their first release with new bass player and clean vocalist Jonny Reeves. For heaps of Australian fans, this will be their first chance to see the band in its current form.

Over the past two decades, The Amity Affliction have cemented themselves as one of Australia’s premier heavy acts. Eight studio albums deep – including five that hit number one on the ARIA Charts – the band’s racked up seven ARIA nominations, countless sold-out tours across Australia, the US, UK and Europe, and over one billion streams.
Tour dates span from Gold Coast through to regional Queensland hotspots including Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Mackay, Airlie Beach, Townsville and Cairns. NSW gets hit with stops at Dee Why, Newcastle, Tamworth, Coffs Harbour, Penrith, Wollongong and the Central Coast, plus a run down to Albury. Tasmania scores shows in Hobart and Forth, while Victorian dates lock in Geelong, Traralgon and Frankston. Adelaide wraps things up on 21 March at Bridgeway Hotel.
Support across most dates comes from fellow heavy hitters In Hearts Wake and Redhook, with local act headwreck jumping on select shows. It’s shaping up to be a proper regional metalcore circuit, hitting venues that don’t always get the big touring packages. Tickets went on sale this morning.
