Tex Perkins is launching a mysterious new livestream series, ‘The Show’

The Aussie rock legend is getting creative.

Tex Perkins’ Facebook page is the place you’ll want to be come this Sunday night as the Aussie rock legend is launching his own livestream series, The Show.

According to Perkins’ Facebook, the show promises “filmed musical performances with a bar, casual verbal intercourse, lights, cameras and not one but two smoke machines”.

“This is how we do things now,” Perkins continues.

Indeed it is Perkins and we’re glad to have you onboard the livestream train. The teaser video for The Show has a mysterious Stranger Things vibe to it as Perkins enters a ramshackle barn to a psychedelic instrumental. It’s pitch black as a silhouette of Perkins fades into the building.

To promote the show, Tex will be joining Brian Nankervis on RocKwiz’s Facebook page tonight from 8:30pm for a chat. Aren’t we all curious to see what Perkins has up his sleeve?

We haven’t heard from Perkins for a bit after his performance at Perth’s By The C concert got postponed from its original April date to November 7. Perkins will be joined by the likes of Icehouse, You Am I and Pete Murray for the performance.

Check out the teaser for the series below:

Be sure to tune into Tex Perkins’ Facebook page from 6pm Sunday May 17 when The Show makes its premiere.
