Ballarat five-piece are to start a residency at The Grace Darling next month, playing every second Thursday.
Indie-pop band Tessa & the Typecast will start a residency at The Grace Darling in March, performing every second Thursday.
This five-piece hail from Ballarat, and each member of the band combines their eclectic tastes to create soul-lifting and fun music.
With a sound compared to Regina Spektor and Florence and the Machine, Tessa & the Typecast have strong jazz and contemporary influences, and each of their songs showcases their musical integrity and talent.
Painter is the name of their new single, and it has already received radio play on both local and international stations.
They played two sold out single launches at the end of last year, and have supported acts including Little Red, The Vasco Era and Kate Miller-Heidke. This Friday night Tessa & the Typecast will feature on the bill with Kate Nash at Billboard – their first international support!
They will then launch into their first shows of the year at The Grace Darling Hotel with a whole bunch of new tunes. So make sure you check out Tessa & the Typecast either this Friday night, or at The Grace beginning next month!
