It's all going down at the Abbotsford Convent on April 1.
Skip straight to the hard stuff and make your way down to the Australian Distillers Festival, happening next weekend at the Abbotsford Convent.
The second-ever iteration of the event will bring together 30 of Australia’s top breweries and distilleries for a day of drinking and discussion. Sample local rum, gin, vodka, whiskey and liqueurs, then grab a bite to eat from one of the on-site food trucks. There will also be live music to help keep the mood high.

Some of the brands that will be showing their wares at the festival include Boat Rocker Brewery, Saintlier Distillery, Hillmartin Gin, White Oat Distillery and Mountain Distilling. And you can expect a lot more than just your average spirits – these distillers will be using flavours and botanicals you couldn’t even imagine in your wildest dreams.

The ticket price includes a free tasting glass, a three-hour tasting session (good luck keeping it together) and a tote bag to carry around all of your new booze.
While you’re more than welcome to try the spirits straight, there will also be cocktails for those who prefer their drinks mixed. Throughout the day, enjoy the live spirits masterclasses that will be taking place, or walk off your buzz with a stroll through the venue’s lovely gardens.
The Australian Distillers Festival has a little something for everyone, from hospitality professionals to liquor superfans. Just remember to drink some water, okay?
