At the core of “Faith Crisis Pt 1” lies a profound question of belief, explored through 13 tracks that traverse the spectrum of human emotion. Lead songwriter and vocalist, Hannah Joy, delves into the complexities of faith, examining its fractures, rebuilding, and the journey towards belief amidst uncertainty.

Co-produced by Tim Fitz and Jonathan Gilmore, the album sees Middle Kids masterfully express the sensation of being overwhelmed, yet finding solace and redemption through their music. With collaborations including Gang of Youths frontman Dave Le’aupepe, “Faith Crisis Pt 1” is a testament to the band’s versatility and musical prowess.

Middle Kids’ previous album, “Today We’re The Greatest,” garnered critical acclaim, winning Best Rock Album at the 2021 ARIA Awards. Despite its release during the pandemic, the album propelled the band to international fame, with appearances on major US TV shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Since their debut in 2017 with “Edge Of Town,” Middle Kids have established themselves as one of Australia’s most promising acts. Their debut album, “Lost Friends,” earned them Triple J’s Best Australian Album Award in 2018, setting the stage for a string of successful albums and international tours.

With a reputation for captivating live performances and a growing global fanbase, Middle Kids’ upcoming tour is poised to be a highlight of the Australian music calendar.
