Sweet Jean is the project of Sime Nugent and Alice Keath, and the pair’s latest full-length encompasses vintage synths and jangly pieces of nostalgia. Lyrically they touch on everything from interstellar travel to everyday hurdle-hopping.
It follows their debut, Dear Departure, which gained all sorts of accolades upon release in 2013, including Album of the Week at PBS FM, ABC RN and ABC DIG, Album of the Month at Rhythms magazine and a nomination in The Age Music Victoria Awards.
