Summer is heating up in Stonnington! The highly anticipated Sunset Sounds concert is back on Sunday, January 19, with an unforgettable evening of free live music! Join us in Malvern Public Gardens for a triple billing that promises to fill the park with the magic of soul, funk, and ska.

Melbourne Ska Orchestra
Melbourne Ska Orchestra, led by the charismatic Nicky Bomba, has captivated audiences since 2003 with their infectious sound and unforgettable performances. With accolades including two ARIA awards for their albums Sierra-Kilo-Alpha and One Year Of Ska, they’ve proven to be a force in the music scene.
Cookin’ On 3 Burners
Since their debut with the iconic 7″ single “Gravel Rash / Pie Warmer” in 2002, Cookin’ On 3 Burners has forged their path in the local music scene. This beloved trio seamlessly blends deep funk, raw soul, organ jazz, and boogaloo. Brace yourself as they team up with the sensational Stella Angelico, whose smoky vocals and dynamic performances will set hearts racing!
Kylie Auldist
Dubbed ‘the high priestess of Melbourne soul,’ Kylie Auldist is not only the powerhouse vocals behind the ARIA award-nominated band The Bamboos but also a celebrated solo artist taking the scene by storm. Her voice flows effortlessly from soaring vocal highs to heart-wrenching moments of pure tenderness. Kylie’s onstage presence is pure joy.
