Classical pianist Berta Brozgul plays three works characterised by intellectual rigour, sensuality, pianistic brilliance and stunning colours. This unique program features Bartok’s fiery piano sonata, sandwiched between two prolific keyboard suites of the baroque and twentieth centuries.
Born in South Africa into a musical family, Berta moved to Australia at the age of 12. She has established herself as a versatile and exciting performer, as soloist, chamber musician and accompanist.
Tempo Rubato is a live classical music venue and bar in Brunswick. All the venue’s profits go to Piano Project, a Melbourne charity that supports projects that provide access to music education.
Bar open from 7pm. Music at 8pm.
