Suicidal Tendencies announce Download sideshows

Suicidal Tendencies have locked in some sideshows while in the country for Australia’s inaugural Download Festival.

They hit Australian shores in March playing sideshows at the Gold Coast, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. There is no Melbourne sideshow, but Suicidal Tendencies will be at Download Festival on Saturday March 24.

The band formed in Venice, California in the early ’80s with Mike Muir leading the band from the very beginning. Specialising in vicious hardcore and later thrash metal, they have built a huge following, especially from skateboarders and fans of skate punk.

Having taken charge for almost three decades, Suicidal Tendencies has influenced bands like Green Day, Metallica, Limp Bizkit and Slipknot.
