Sugar Mountain Announce Sensory Restaurant

cutcopy.jpg

The immersive restaurant experiment is a collaboration between Sugar Mountain and three Melbourne icons of taste, sight and sound – Bomba, Tin & Ed and Cut Copy.

If the name didnt give it away, Sensory is aiming to take dining to a whole new level. Throughout the four-course set menu, guests will become part of an interactive environment, exploring the relationship between sight, sound, taste, smell and touch through a 50 minute narrative.

The alternate reality will aim to play with how people see and understand the world around them.

Tapas restaurant Bomba will be expressing their artistry through an experimental food and drink offering, Melbourne design gurus Tin & Ed will work with two and three dimensional aspects to create an immersive environment, and Melbourne ARIA winners/Grammy nominees Cut Copy will compose an evolving soundscape to complement each course.

During the festival Sensory will host four sittings, inviting 90 people into each sitting.
