Last year Simpsons won the Emerging Artist of the Year award at the Americana Music Awards, and this year he walked away winning Song of the Year for Turtles All the Way Down and Artist of the Year. Recently he’s performed at Bonnaroo and Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic.
