We are finally BACK again with an epic Hip Hop showcase for the second instalment of Straight Outta Belgrave.
Hip Hop is not only a genre, it is born from a yearning to speak, express, give voices to what would’ve been the voiceless, and challenge the systems that confined or confine us.
It is a retaliation, a protest, an outlet, a meeting ground, a culture and a birthplace for people to connect, through word and rhythm.
After such a receptive and lively first debut at Sooki Lounge, we’re so excited for the talented line-up of rappers, MC’s, DJ’s and live artists to take the stage for an afternoon into late evening Sunday Hip Hop session in the hills.

This event is presented by The Nuance of Dichotomy (Taylor Jenej) which potently focuses on the crux of where poetry and hip hop came alive.
