Melbourne songstress Tanya-Lee Davies is a heat seeking missile who specialises in dreamy pop country folk with attitude sounds. She found her psychic home and inspiration in the sounds of Laurel Canyon, Nashville and early 70’s New York.
Her latest album Dreamland, a lock down love child, is a glamourous recounting of late night arrivals and departures form the Honeymoon suite, contemplations on seasons, magic and tender reflections of holy and unholy renewal held together by acoustic folk and rich electric guitars, pedal steel, tambourines, haunting harmonies and shimmering vibraphone, with the warm honey tones of TLD’s unmistakable lush vocals guiding you deep into the magic.
Joining Tanya-Lee for this Storytellers performance will be the much in demand Amy Valent Curlis on vibraphone and percussion.
