Club Sessions is Stonnington Jazz’s series of late night events to get you dancing, featuring Australia’s finest future soul, funk and R’n’B outfits. The event kicks off on May 11 with keyboardist and composer Billy Davis whose music combines the sounds of contemporary jazz with hip hop, funk, R&B and gospel. He will be joined on stage by The Good Lords and hip hop artist P-UniQue andDJ Mz Rizk.
The following nights include appearances from a great variety of artists such as Sydney’s GODTET, supported by DJ Shio Otani and La Sape DJs on May 12, soul singer Emma Donovan and Melbourne rhythm combo The PutBacks on May 18 joined by Leisure Centre (formerly known as The Do Yo Thangs) and DJ Lyndelle Wilkinson and one huge party on May 19, dirty beatnik rock ‘n’ roll band Jazz Party and DJ Richie1250.
