Netflix stand-up star and actress Iliza Shlesinger has announced an Australian tour with Sydney and Melbourne dates in February 2023.
The straight-shooting American comedian, actress and television host is set to return to Australia in February 2023 for two special performances in Sydney and Melbourne, with her brand-new show Back In Action. The 2008 winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, being the only female to take out that accolade so far, has performed her show Back in Action to sold out crowds internationally. She’ll be appearing in Victoria for a night at Melbourne’s own Hamer Hall on February 1, 2023. Her tour will then see her jetting off to Sydney for a performance at the Sydney State Theatre on February 3. A routine that focuses on self-esteem and the scrutiny that the female body faces from a young age, Back in Action plays to the Iliza’s strengths as a visual comedian. Relatable and self-effacing, Back in Action questions the commodification of mental health through social media, Back in Action is a skillful combination of her winning dynamism and sharp worldview.
