The Detroit icon is set to show Melbourne what Detroit is all about.
Stacey Pullen has announced Australian dates over October and November, joining the mass array of the influential Detroit techno artists to visit Melbourne at the end of this year.
An innovator in the second wave of Detroit techno and has risen to be a star of the genre. Pullen’s blend of house, garage and techno continues to influence many within electronic music. Pullen describes himself as the Kosmik Messenger – an innovator from techno’s homeland. He’s emerged as a techno force, dropping material on Transmat, Metroplex as well as his own Black Flag outlet. He compounds his reputation as a producer with that of being one of the world’s most in demand DJs, playing weekly across the globe year in year out.
