This year’s keynote Forum interview will see Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall question TEDx veteran and former global CEO of Greenpeace Paul Gilding about the state of the planet for Life on Earth in 2030 – Fun, Frazzled or F%*cked.
In what’s sure to be another riveting session, former NSA officer-turned- whistleblower Thomas Drake will be joined by attorney Jesselyn Radack, Greens Senator Scott Ludlam, writer Dr. Suelette Dreyfus and security journalist Patrick Gray for Big Brother is Definitely Watching: Why should you care about Edward Snowden and his leaks?
This year’s program will also feature the new Twilight Film Festival and Splendour Late Night Comedy Club. The Twilight Film Festival will begin each afternoon at dusk and will screen the latest social and political documentaries and music bio-pics. Fans will also have a chance to take part in Q&A sessions with the films’ directors.
Once the sun sets, the Late Night Comedy Club will open up with 26 of Australia’s top comedians. The inaugural program features the likes of triple j’s Matt Okine, Tom Ballard and Mel Buttle and Good News Week’s Claire Hooper.
