Tonight Alright, recorded in California, marked a significant chapter in Spiderbait’s career, embracing the hard rock sound of the early 2000s. The album’s standout track, Black Betty, became an instant classic, soaring to the top of charts both in Australia and internationally, solidifying Spiderbait’s status as rock royalty.

To commemorate the album’s 20th anniversary, Spiderbait will release a limited edition vinyl on July 26th, featuring alternative artwork and an alternate version of Tonite.

Renowned for their dynamic stage presence, Spiderbait’s live performances are a testament to their enduring popularity and musical prowess. Despite thirty years in the industry, the trio shows no signs of slowing down, captivating audiences with their raw energy and infectious enthusiasm.

The journey of Spiderbait is a quintessentially Australian tale of friendship and perseverance. Originating from a small country town, the band defied the odds to become one of the nation’s most beloved rock acts.

With seven acclaimed albums under their belt, Spiderbait boasts a catalogue of music that has earned them numerous accolades, including multiple ARIA Awards and the prestigious title of topping triple j’s Hottest 100 of 1996 with Buy Me A Pony.

As anticipation builds for the Black Betty 20th Anniversary Tour, fans can expect a nostalgic journey through Spiderbait’s greatest hits, celebrating the enduring legacy of one of Australia’s most iconic bands.

“Nothing beats seeing live music, I’m really excited to bring everyone along with us and leave them with a big smile. Feels like we’re throwing a party in the machinery shed on the farm like the old days,” says Janet.
