The festival is a collaboration between the Darwin International Laksa Festival and Molly Rose Brewery, offering free entry to all attendees. Located at 279-285 Wellington St, Molly Rose Brewery provides the perfect backdrop for a day of indulgence and community spirit.
Highlighting the festival are renowned chefs like Jason from Chok’s Place, a recipient of the Darwin 2023 Hall of Fame, and Jason from CHOW!, the 2023 Golden Bowl Winner, who will be serving up their award-winning laksas for all to sample. Melbourne’s own culinary talent, including Chef Mischa Tropp of Toddy Shop and the innovative team at Molly Rose Brewery, will also showcase their unique interpretations of this beloved dish.
Guests can explore various stalls, participate in the exhilarating Can You Handle The Heat? laksa eating competition, or attend free cooking demonstrations by Chef Jason to master the art of preparing the perfect laksa paste.
