Space enthusiasts are in for a treat this September as IMAX Melbourne's annual Spacetember Film Festival returns with a line-up bigger than ever.
Starting on 1 September, audiences can embark on a cinematic journey through the galaxy with exclusive IMAX expanded aspect ratio content and epic 3D features on the largest screen in the Southern Hemisphere. IMAX Melbourne promises an immersive experience with its giant screen and powerful sound system.

Interstellar, celebrating its 10th anniversary, is the festival’s headliner. Shot on IMAX film cameras, it features over 75 minutes of full-screen IMAX sequences, providing an unparalleled viewing experience. Other highlights include First Man, Nope, both Dune films, Space Station 3D, and Hubble 3D, all featuring full-screen IMAX sequences.
Exclusively for Spacetember’s Pacific Rim 3D session, Kaiju! Beer will offer intergalactic pre-film tastings for ticketholders.
Tickets for Spacetember go on sale on Tuesday, 30 July, at 10 am for IMAX’s Big League members and 11 am for the general public.
