A statement from the promoters of the festival reads:

“Due to the need for additional capacity, Soulfest has moved its Melbourne show to the Kings Domain Gardens, incorporating the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. The capacity has now increased to 15,000 with the festival expected to sell-out. Still featuring 2 stages, the event will now incorporate the plush garden surroundings of the Kings Domain and the main stage within the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.”

The lineup features Maxwell, D’Angelo, Common, Aloe Blacc, Mos Def, Anthony Hamilton, Angie Stone, Musiq Soulchild, Leela James, Nathaniel, Ms Murphy, Miracle and DJ Trey with local acts for each city still to be announced.
