Sly Withers, the pop punk sensation from Boorloo, are making waves once again with their latest single, Everything.

This track, the band’s first release since 2022’s Overgrown, marks a new chapter for Sly Withers as they prepare for the launch of their fourth album. To celebrate, the band is hitting the road for a nationwide tour, bringing their raw energy and introspective lyrics to stages across the country.

Everything encapsulates the band’s journey through tumultuous times, with vocalist and guitarist Sam Blitvich pouring his heart out over acoustic melodies and soaring vocals. The departure of drummer Joel Neubecker adds an emotional layer to the song, immortalizing his farewell in music.

“We recorded a few newbies with Joel in late 2023 and this was the last of the batch. Dave Parkin, our producer, cried out, ‘Why did we have to pick such an emotional song to do last?!’; as a few of us faced separate walls with our teary eyes, avoiding eye contact at all costs during Joel’s final take. There were lots of hugs afterwards. It was a special day, and this will forever be a special song for us because of what it represents to our band. End of an era,” says Sam.

The accompanying music video, directed by Tim Elphick, strips down to the essence of the song, featuring Sam against a plain white backdrop in South Perth. It’s a fitting visual representation of the track’s raw emotion and vulnerability.

Joining Sly Withers on tour are a lineup of talented acts, including smol fish, Foothead, Amends, Florida Man, Talk Heavy, Oscar the Wild, Eaglemont, and Siobhan Cotchin.
