If you’re a lover of electronic music and have no plans to ring in the New Year, head to the Corner Hotel in Richmond, where you’ll find some of Australia’s best DJs.

The ultimate New Year’s Eve rave is just around the corner (get it?), featuring an incredible lineup of Slumberjack, Kinder and Raave Tapes. All these DJs are making waves in the electronic scene, playing sold-out shows and festivals and engaging in major collaborations.

Perth EDM duo Slumberjack has garnered major national and international success since their formation in 2017. In Australia, their dance-pop tracks Poison, Better Off and Not For You received airplay on national radio. These days, the pair have discarded the pop style, creating their darkest, heaviest and most rave-ready tracks yet.

NYE at The Corner Hotel

  • Sunday 31st December 2023
  • Rooftop open from 12pm
  • Bon But Not Forgotten – doors from 1pm
  • Slumberjack, Kinder & Raave Tapes – doors from 9pm

Keep up with the latest music news, features, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

The duo boast three gold records, over 175 million streams, multiple international tours and collaborations with artists such as Josh Pan, Alison Wonderland and more. They’ve also graced the stages of some of the biggest global music festivals such as Lollapalooza and Splendour in the Grass, to name a few.

Slumberjack’s undeniable prowess has earned them the reputation of being the sharpest, most progressive minds in electronic music. They’ll be joined by sister duo Kinder, who have become fixtures of the Sydney club scene.

The sisters quickly went from DJing small spots to headlining and eventually opening for giants including Marshmello and RL Grime. Now they’re performing on the national festival circuit, including the 2019 Listen Out national tour.

For fans of The Presets, Bloc Party and Charli XCX, Raave Tapes is the artist for you. The Newcastle duo fuse socially progressive concepts into crazed crowd-pleasers.

Raave Tapes has reached multiple milestones throughout their career, such as selling out an 800-person capacity in their hometown, playing to packed rooms at BIGSOUND two years in a row and touring with These New South Wales and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.

If you want to get the party started early, The Corner Hotel is also hosting a matinee show called Bon But Not Forgotten that’ll be paying tribute to 50 years of AC/DC.

There will also be pre-drinks on the rooftop starting at noon, so you can grab a hefty pub meal and start psyching yourself up to dance all night and say goodbye to 2023 and hello to 2024.
