New Zealand's biggest live band Six60 are coming to Melbourne for Live at the Gardens, and this one's going to sell out fast.
Kiwi music doesn’t get much bigger than this, and now Melbourne is about to get a serious dose of it. Six60 have announced a huge return to Melbourne, playing Live at the Gardens at the Royal Botanic Gardens this November.
The New Zealand outfit will bring their biggest hits to the stage on 27 November, with Six60 fresh off a run that saw them headline to a crowd of 40,000 at the opening night of the new stadium at Te Kaha in Christchurch.
It’s the kind of drawing power that’s earned them the title of the highest selling live band in New Zealand’s history, and Melbourne crowds have shown up in force every time they’ve come through before.

Expect a set stacked with tracks from their latest record, Right Here Right Now, including We Made It and Endlessly, alongside long-time favourites like Don’t Forget Your Roots, Someone To Be Around and Only To Be.
The band have said they’re looking forward to getting back on Melbourne stages, with the city’s crowds among their favourites to play for anywhere in the world.
Joining them for the night is South Summit, a five-piece known for blending indie rock, reggae and hip-hop into something that refuses to sit still.
Their debut album, The Bliss, landed at number two on the ARIA albums chart, and they followed it up with Run It Back, which climbed to number three.
It’s their live shows, though, that have really built their reputation, with the group steadily winning over crowds on stage after stage.
Tickets go on sale 12 August at 11am local time through Ticketmaster, with Live at the Gardens and MG Live member presales kicking off 10 August at 11am local time.
This will mark the fifth season of Live at the Gardens, a collaboration between MG Live and Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne that’s quickly become one of the city’s most magical live music experiences since debuting in 2024.
Past seasons have brought out international names like Franz Ferdinand, Groove Armada, Róisín Murphy and Lake Street Dive, plus homegrown favourites including The Living End, The Presets, Chet Faker, Matt Corby, Tash Sultana, Xavier Rudd, Sarah Blasko and Vika & Linda, among others.
With Six60 now added to that list, the 2026 season is shaping up to be one of the strongest yet.
