Following the performance of ‘Drama Queen’s entire track listing, guests will be welcomed into The Changing Room Gallery for the official opening of ‘un.NAMED’ ~ an inclusive exhibition showcasing artwork by LGBTQIA+ Folks and Allies, curated by un.CREATES!
Simone Spittle (she/her/hers) is a singer-songwriter known for her authentic storytelling, mesmerising voice and empowering music. Through her debut album ‘Drama Queen,’ Simone shares her journey of healing and self-discovery, inviting listeners to embrace their true selves and navigate life’s complexities with authenticity.
‘Drama Queen’, is a deeply personal album, chronicling Simone’s lived experiences healing from her childhood, love in its many forms (dating/first love/self-love/Queer love/heartbreak), existing in a larger body, owning your story and all the joyful mess in between.
“At its heart, ‘Drama Queen’ is about reclaiming my narrative and asserting my worth,” explains Simone. “Through my music, I aim to inspire others to embrace their true selves and navigate life’s complexities with authenticity.” Simone bravely confronts the impact of childhood trauma, challenging labels like ‘Drama Queen’ that once stifled her spirit.
Through ‘Drama Queen’, she invites audiences to witness her transformation from a young girl who Survived complex trauma to a woman who boldly asserts her worth and desires. Simone’s album unfolds chronologically, each track serving as a timestamp from her journey of healing so far.
