Silicone Soul is one of the label’s favourites – with four albums to their name, the pair (made up of Craig Morrison and Graeme Reedie) met at school and bonded over a fondness for old-school punk sounds and acts like Isaac Hayes and Curtis Mayfield. It was through the revelatory sounds of Primal Scream and Andrew Weatherall that the duo found themselves pulled to the potential and euphoria of electronic dance music and went on to become one of Soma’s favourite purveyors of driving house beats.
