Australiana pop group Shining Bird have played alongside music artists such as Kurt Vile, Franz Ferdinand, The Drones and more, and have appeared at Fairgrounds Fstival and Sydney Festival among other tightly curated events. Now they’ve created Black Opal, a dreamy compilation that was inspired by the band’s trekking journey to remote lookouts and their exposure to classic Australian films.
