Shabazz Palaces, a Seattle hip-hop outfit fronted by Ishmael Butler (previously of Digable Planets) shun press and media for the most part, instead choosing to let their oblique, gritty brand of hip-hop speak for themselves – their leftfield, exploratory sounds drawing comparisons to Flying Lotus and SBTRKT.
