Sensible Antixx: A Very Sensible Block Party

Independent powerhouse Sensible Antixx Records proudly announce their first label celebration at Section 8 on Friday, November 21.
How the hell the label got Dialectrix, Grey Ghost, Cazeaux Oslo and DJ Mizhap on one bill is well… DOPE!

“Each of these artists bring something unique to the table – last time we hosted something like this was crazy… Come find out for yourself” says Antony Attridge (Director, Sensible Antixx Records).

“This is more than just kicking off our label – It’s about setting the tone for what we’re all about,” adds Kristina Hood (Director, Sensible Antixx Records). We’re here to back independent artists who are bold, self-defined and community driven.”

DIALECTRIX: A self-proclaimed Outcast yet undeniable veteran of Aus hip hop, is celebrated as one of the nation’s most skilled and electrifying emcees. Emerging from the Blue Mountains with the Down Under Beats Crew (the first hip hop act to win Triple J’s Unearthed Competition), he soon launched a solo career with acclaimed albums Cycles of Survival and The Cold Light of Day. Known for his rapid-fire flows, razor-sharp lyricism and dynamic stage presence, the rapper has collaborated with top producers like Chasm and Plutonic Lab, while sharing stages with global icons. His craft blends technical brilliance with storytelling and social insight – one of the best MC’s to touch the mic!

Grey Ghost; The creative moniker of Naarm artist Jeremy Koren returns to the stage bringing his wild blend of hip hop, art and storytelling. A formidable presence in Australia’s alternative hip hop scene, Grey Ghost first emerged as Jeremedy and The Melodics. There is no one like Ghostie, ask anyone – this poltergeist is inexplicable on the M-I-C.

Grey Ghost is a celebrated visual artist and director (Ghostie Studios), he’s crafted compelling visual worlds across illustration, animation and film (work that earned him an ARIA Award for Best Cover Art in 2023), and look we can name drop and go on… Honestly the accolades are too many to list…

CAZEAUX OSLO: is a rapper, DJ and multidisciplinary artist who’s music fuses hip hop, soul, jazz, and spoken word with fearless experimentation. Born in the US and now based in Australia, his beautifully unique narrative blends socially conscious lyricism with colourful soundscapes.
As both rapper and DJ, he delivers poetic verses whilst curating sets that move across funk, electronic, and global rhythms. Rooted in storytelling and improvisation, his work reflects personal and cultural narratives. The lyricist behind So.Crates and Man Made Mountain – Cazeaux is the Out Side Looking In of Hiphop culture.

DJ MIZHAP: With over a decade behind the decks and six years mastering Turntablism, DJ Mizhap has established herself as a triple threat — DJ, turntablist, and multi-disciplinary artist. Known for technical precision, electrifying energy, and a deep love of HipHop culture, she redefines the DJ experience. Founder of Restless Records Crew’s Dish Up (2022), Mizhap has shared stages with icons including TLC,Shaggy, Akon, and The Crystal Method. She’s held residencies and performed at Storyville, Blue Bar, and Lucky Coq, HER Music Bar and more, PLUS collaborating with icons such as Mantra, N’fa Jones, and Sensible J. Continually pushing culture forward, this turntablist is about to throw Section 8 in a damn spin!
