As the weather gets colder, there’s nothing more appealing than spending the day soaking in the warm, tranquil waters of a spa.
This Monday, Collingwood’s much-adored modern wellness centre Sense of Self is hosting a very special bathing experience featuring live music and curated sounds designed to draw guests even deeper into the relaxing moment.

- On April 24, Sense of Spa is hosting three bathing sessions with musical accompaniment
- The entertainment will include a live performance by Khyall Vocal Ensemble and ambient recordings by Deep Water Greenhouse

The bathhouse is teaming up with Skylab Radio and Deep Water Greenhouse to present a day full of musical bathing on April 24. The experience will feature a live vocal performance by the Khyall Vocal Ensemble and recorded ambient creations curated by Deep Water Greenhouse.

Khyall Vocal Ensemble is a Naarm-based singing group known for its haunting and ethereal style of performance. The four-piece group, made up of Aarti Jadu, Aurora Darby, Mel Taylor and Siobhan Housden, uses improvisation to explore the evocative nature of the human voice.
Sense of Self will be hosting three sessions, running for two hours each and taking place at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm (although the evening session is already sold out). The tickets will include unlimited bathing, a robe and towel hire and light refreshments.
The communal spa is fixed with everything you need for a day of pampering: a hot magnesium-infused pool and a cold plunge, as well as a Finnish sauna and a steamy Turkish hammam. The sessions promise to be an “immersive bathing and musical experience to nourish the senses, the body and the soul”.
