After a tough two years for the music industry in Melbourne, Melbourne Stars Head of Marketing and Commercial, Chris MacDonald, said the club was thrilled to be able to support local artists who will play at both the MCG and the CitiPower Centre, just off Albert Park.
“Live music will form a key part of the Melbourne Stars experience for BBL|12 and we look forward to welcoming some of the country’s best artists.
“We want our members and fans to enjoy the best possible BBL experience and that’s not limited to what happens on the field. Our hope is that such a high-calibre music line-up will also attract a new legion of fans to the BBL, with entertainment at its core.
“We’re on track to break our membership record before the start of the season and we can’t wait to see as many of the Stars family as possible at the MCG on December 16 with Electric Fields kicking off our entertainment.”
