You may have been disappointed when Primal Scream’s Big Day Out sideshow at The Forum on Wednesday February 2 sold out immediately, but you can now wipe those tears from your sad sad eyes because a second and final show has just been announced!
Lees and West are proud to tell you that Primal Scream are giving their loyal fans one more chance to see them perform the colourful Screamadelica live in an intimate setting.
This second and final Melbourne sideshow will take place at the Forum on Thursday February 3, 2011.
Just how classic is the 1991 record Screamadelica? It was the first ever recipient of the Mercury Music Prize. It propelled Primal Scream to Top of the Pops and Smash Hits cover-star status. And it was one of ten album covers chosen by Britain’s Royal Mail to be displayed as part of a set of "Classic Album Cover" postage stamps earlier this year.
Bobby Gillespie, guitarist Andrew Innes, keyboardist Martin Duffy, bassist Mani and drummer Darrin Mooney will be joined by gospel singers, a horn section, and a house full of memories to recreate the magic of Screamadelica live on stage.
Tickets go on sale here on Monday December 6 at 9am and are $84.20. This is an 18+ event.
