‘Screaming, crying, perfect storm’: Book in to this Taylor Swift therapy session

Taylor Swift

Tears will ricochet across the room.

Has life been getting you down? Need to kick those winter blues? You’re in luck. In June, Ballers Clubhouse is hosting a night of healing featuring music by the Queen of sad girls herself.

Get ready to let those mascara tears run – don’t worry, there will be tissues provided. While we patiently wait for the artist herself to grace our shores, we have the Taylor Swift Therapy Session to keep us busy.

Taylor Swift Therapy Sessions

  • June 10 – Rhinoroom, Adelaide
  • June 16 – The Court, Perth
  • June 17 – Ballers Clubhouse, Melbourne
  • June 30 – Kickons, Brisbane
  • July 1 – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney

Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around Melbourne here.

The event promises a strictly non-stop, Taylor-only playlist, with five straight hours of her music blasting through the room to a strict schedule which you can check out here.

To get the vibes right, the first 50 guests to arrive will be given heart-shaped sunglasses (so don’t worry about smudging your makeup). There will also be a glitter station to add a little sparkle and free Chupa Chups if you’re in need of something sweet.

Have a selfie photo shoot in front of the ‘I’m a Mirrorball’ balloon wall and sip on one of the themed drinks on the menu, such as the Champagne Problems Spritz, the Calm Down Cocktail or the Getaway Car-tini.

In the spirit of the evening, guests will be invited to make a contribution to mental health services such as Beyond Blue and Lifeline. There will be QR codes posted throughout the venue for direct donations.

Hosted by Swifties AU (who also run dress-up parties), the Tay Tay therapy session will tour throughout the country, touching the hearts and minds of all those in attendance.

Tickets are on sale now, and trust us: they’re a lot cheaper than a real visit to the therapist’s office.
