Armed with an acoustic guitar, Sam Nelson is set to join The Vamps on their sold out show at Melbourne's own Forum.
Nelson, who is the frontman and lead vocalist for American pop rock band X Ambassadors, will join the tour in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this February to help celebrate 10 years of The Vamps and the hits that make them so beloved across the UK and Australia. Catch him if you’ve got tickets to The Vamps at Forum in Melbourne on February 4.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be heading out on the road with these kind, generous, and talented dudes,” says Sam Nelson.
“The Vamps have been a band for about as long as X Ambassadors have been a band, so I feel a special kinship with them already and I can’t wait to bond with all of their fans as well.
“Plus, this will be my first time playing solo, just me and an acoustic guitar. I’ll be playing a mix of X Ambassadors stuff as well as debuting some stuff from my upcoming solo project, which I’m very excited about.”

Sam is also an actor, composer, producer and lyricist, having composed music and written songs for the likes of Rihanna, Lizzo, SZA and Imagine Dragons, and created music for international blockbusters Suicide Squad, Sonic the Hedgehog, Hellboy and Transformers: The Last Knight.
The Vamps have played global tours and festivals that has seen them play to over two million people, including being the first band to headline The O2 London for five consecutive years. They’ve performed in the US on chat shows like Ellen and Seth Myers and have collaborated with artists from Shawn Mendes to Sigala and Bruno Mars. They’ve also played and shared stages with Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay amongst others.
