Sally Ford and the Idiomatics play songs of life, love and lived experience.
Patrick Cronin and Michael Havir provide a lush electro-acoustic backing to Sally Ford’s wryly-observed lyrics. The underscore of keyboards, samples and electronica is embellished by trombone, saxophone, flute and occasional whistling.
Special guest for the night will be acclaimed guitarist, writer and educator Lucas Michailidis. Lucas will bringing his prodigious international solo experience along with his local ensemble work with bands such as Way out West and Zulya and The Children of the Underground to the Idiomatics’ richly imagined musical experience.
