Northcote Social Club

Today renowned Melbourne stalwarts RVG announce a surprise one-off show at Northcote Social Club in three days time on Thursday 15th August. Off the back of a sold out Croxton show in June and their third album Brain Worm’s being named the Independent Album of the Year at the AIR Awards earlier this month, this show will be a rare chance to catch the band up close and personal. There are limited tickets and the show will sell out quickly so get your tickets NOW.

Supporting RVG will be Sunny Morris, whose recently released album You’re A Liar, Girl (via Blossom Rot Records) was last week’s RRR Album of the Week. The album sees Sunny stepping into ambitious new sonic territory with luscious string arrangements, trumpets, saxophones and rich harmonies which will be on display this Thursday at the Northcote Social Club.

This will be the first, and only Australian, show with RVG’s European tour band formation, acting as an intimate and electrifying warm up ahead of the their first show on Thursday 28th August at The Lexington in London. Romy Vager and Isabele Wallace will be joined by Nathalie Pavlovic and Jen Sholakis who will be stepping into the shoes of Reuben Bloxham and Marc Nolte respectively to form the band for this run of shows. This will be this band’s only performance in Melbourne, and RVG’s smallest show in years. With just three days until the show get your tickets now before it sells out.
