Inspired by Trisha Brown’s Roof Piece (1971), Suspended will integrate live dance with pre-recorded footage; it aims to challenge the way we traditionally perceive dance and film.
Suspended will include Australia’s best emerging talent, including performers Jessica Wong and James Shannon, cinematographer Rudi Siira, sound designer Matthew Brown, costumer designers and winners of the LMFF National Designer Award From Britten, an post-producer Ana Jimenez.
