After last year’s event was cancelled amidst the COVID-19 shutdowns, RocKwiz’s Good Friday special is back and bigger than ever.
Headed to Sidney Myer Music Bowl stage as part of Art Centre Melbourne’s Live at the Bowl series, it will be the first time the RocKwiz crew have stood atop the stage at the Bowl since saluting the venue in 2009 as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
“We’re all flooded with memories of rock concerts we’ve seen there, but of course inspired by the big show we did there in March 2009; a sweltering night when Melbourne was getting over a hot summer of bushfires,” said Brian Nankervis of their return to Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
“We came together as a big, rowdy family for music, quizzing and pure fun to shake off the sadness of recent events. Sound familiar?”
“To say I have missed performing with my RocKwiz brothers and sisters would be an understatement! I will be holding back tears when I step out on stage to a beautiful audience once again at the magnificent Bowl! Get ready to Rock!” added Julia Zemiro.
The COVID-Safe layout means you and your mates can put your wits to the test from the comfort of your own private deck, making it the perfect trivia set-up.
As always, the night will be full of fun surprises, performances, laughs and the best pub quiz around.
