One part footy match, one part music festival, one part community love-in. The Reclink Community Cup is doing it all again this June.

Now in its 33rd year, the Reclink Community Cup is returning to Victoria Park in Abbotsford on 14 June 2026, uniting some of Australia’s finest musicians, community radio legends and footy fans for a day of live music, AFL action and fundraising.

Running from 11am to 7pm, the event sees the Megahertz (a team drawn from Triple R 102.7FM and PBS 106.7FM) face off against the Rockdogs, a squad made up of some of the country’s best-known musicians.

The Reclink Community Cup is Reclink Australia’s biggest annual fundraiser, channelling proceeds into nationwide sport and recreation programs designed to improve physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection for people experiencing serious life challenges.

Reclink Australia CEO Dave Wells says the event is about more than just a good day out. It’s about making sport and recreation accessible to everyone who needs it.

The football match kicks off just after 2pm following an opening ceremony, with the cup presentation and player medals happening in the early evening. Tickets are available now via Oztix, with limited gate sales expected on the day, subject to capacity.

This year’s event also marks 50 years since The Saints released (I’m) Stranded, and organisers say the anniversary fits perfectly with the cup’s longstanding punk ethos of independence, community action and doing things differently.

The cup is supported by Triple R 102.7FM, PBS 106.7FM, Howden Australia, Stomping Ground and Sopra.
