The 21-year-old star has had a dizzying rise to fame since her career kicked off in 2019. After becoming TikTok famous for her covers of songs and heartfelt videos, she was quickly picked up by Warner Music.
Her work explores topics of young love and mental health, often drawing from the singer’s personal experience. Her debut album, Pretty Poison, was September 10, 2021 to coincide with World Suicide Prevention Day.
Now, with more than 19 million TikTok followers and 1.3 billion streams, Nessa has solidified herself as an artist to watch. She is ready to take the world by storm and has recently embarked on a sold-out European tour as well as playing at internationally-renowned festivals including the UK’s Reading and Leeds and When We Were Young in Las Vegas.
On her upcoming Australian dates, she’ll be joined by fellow TikTok star Oliver Cronin. The Byron Bay artist is a fast-rising figure in the pop scene, creating dark and contemporary tracks that resonate with fans across the world. His debut EP, Beautiful Nightmare, was released last year.
Tickets to see Nessa Barrett on tour with Oliver Cronin will go on sale on Thursday, September 21 at 1pm local time.
