Rick and Morty set in Australia is the absurdist trip you need to watch

Bushworld Adventures is Rick and Morty’s effed up Australian adventure, created by YouTube cartoon creator Michael Cusak, and shared with fans via Adult Swim’s website on Sunday in the most bizarre April Fool’s prank of the lot.

Central Victorian town Bendigo gets a mention, Rick has a Southern Cross tattoo, and both characters have weird Australian accents, very unlike their classic and much-loved tones.

There’s really no way to describe it — you’ll just have to take ten minutes out of your workday to check it out, in all it’s violent, strange and sexually explicit glory.

Fans might see this as a sneaky lead up to a Season 4, after last year’s April Fools premiere of Season 3, but since the show has not yet been renewed for another season, Rick and Morty‘s future is still pretty unclear.

We’ll just have to hold onto this baffling cartoon weirdness to soothe our cravings for now.
